Kasper is a skilled and accomplished professional with over 30 years of extensive senior management/board level experience in the global energy markets, the energy transition and decarbonization.

Educated as a lawyer Kasper started his career as a C-level executive at the Amsterdam Commodity Exchange. In 1997 Kasper founded Maycroft Consultancy that provides strategic advice and education about the best practices in the energy transition, PPAs, carbon markets, regulatory compliance, electricity, natural gas, LNG markets and the trading and risk management thereof.

Kasper gives strategic advice to government agencies such as the European Commission and regulators, investment banks, major utilities, commodity trading houses, industrial companies, big consulting firms and various market places in Europe, the Middle-East, North America and Asia. With regards to the energy transition Kasper advises about the latest and future developments and best practices of low carbon hydrogen, CCUS and global carbon trading markets & pricing.

He is the co-author of the book: A Guide to Emissions Trading: Risk Management and Business Implications (2004). As a renowned expert on PPAs and project risk management, Kasper was appointed as a member of the Offshore Wind Project commission that advised the Dutch government in the tendering process.
